Impressions of a new country

A blog about life in another country. Observations of new cultures, traditions and experiences from the perspective of a very English girl.

Before I came to Romania, all I ever heard about the country were negative things – whether from people in general or from the media. I had never planned on visiting Romania, until I met my partner (a lovely Romanian!). I’m currently living here and experiencing life in Romania and very much enjoying it! However,  this blog isn’t about me, or my life – it’s simply about the interesting things I observe here; the cultural, social and traditional differences of a very unique country. My aim is to give people a small taste of Romania from a new perspective, and hopefully along the way, dispel some of the initial stereotypical views that we make about a place before we even get to know it.

Thanks for reading and I hope you find something that interests you!

Anna
