Many people don't know that there are many modern shopping centres etc here in Romania. I was surprised to find so many of the shops I know from the UK.

This part of the river (Crișul Repede) looks so beautiful in summer. With a view of the town hall.

Romania is seen somewhat negatively by some western nations and I think this is such a shame and a very outdated attitude to have. All I ever heard in England about Romania were negative things. It's hard to see the beauty of a place amidst such stereotypical views until you experience that place for yourself and see all of the good things that you don't hear about in the news

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
