Stray dogs keeping warm on manhole covers in winter
Haven’t seen any vampires yet…but lots of stray dogs.
There’s something magical about the trees here.
Teatrul de Stat Oradea
– a very beautiful building inside and out!
Many people don’t know that there are many modern shopping centres etc here in Romania. I was surprised to find so many of the shops I know from the UK.
This part of the river (Crișul Repede) looks so beautiful in summer. With a view of the town hall.
Alongside Crișul Repede
Băile Felix is such an interesting little place. With many plant and turtle filled ponds – beautiful in summer and eerily beautiful in winter too.
Băile Felix ponds in winter – silent, dead and eerily beautiful.
Romania is seen somewhat negatively by some western nations and I think this is such a shame and a very outdated attitude to have. All I ever heard in England about Romania were negative things. It’s hard to see the beauty of a place amidst such stereotypical views until you experience that place for yourself and see all of the good things that you don’t hear about in the news
